We went to Alexander’s Restaurant in celebration of out anniversary. We had the perfect table by the water & service & food was outstanding. We had the imperial flounder & it was amazing. We were also impressed as this was the only restaurant we experienced in Hilton Head that was following social distancing procedures. We highly recommend & we look forward to returning.
The restaurant did a great job of seating people adhering to social distancing guidelines. All staff wore gloves and masks. Felt very safe. The food was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall a great night out!!
Four adults had the most delicious seafood dinner at Alexanders. With the social distancing notices and staff in masks, we were surprised to see children from other tables dancing around us so many times with nothing being said. Also, people picking up to-go orders were clustered at no more than 6 feet away from us. Would suggest asking for a table against a wall. The restaurant should not be penalized for customers' bad behavior; however, it puts other customers at risk. Would go back there any time!
On our recent trip to HHI, it was very important to us to research restaurants that not only had wonderful food and scenic views but also those that were taking proper precautions in response to Covid-19. We relied heavily on restaurant websites and also customer reviews on OpenTable. We saved Alexander's for the last evening of our trip, and we are so glad that we did. Love going to Alexander's. GREAT early bird menu, especially when treating a family of 8! Felt safe going during this Civid 19 pandemic. Would normally give 5 stars for each category, but waiter needed to smile a bit.
