First time at this restaurant. I don’t know if this open table reservation placement or restaurant protocol but with a nearly empty dining room at the time of our reservation being seated upfront by the entrance was a big disappointment. I am beginning to see a pattern with restaurant reservation through open table and not a very good impression with the restaurants with this practice. Plus now knowing how the restaurant is designed we will ask for different seating in the future.

Nchanny thank you for the review. We apologize the table selection was not up to your standards. Being a 90-95% reservation restaurant, most of the reservations request a window seating, which totals 6 six tables or 6 reservations. We average 40-50 reservations/tables per night in the weekdays and 60+ on the weekends. Table requests are granted on a first request and what is available upon arrival. How was service and food? Great good, great service, great value. Then they surprised IUD with a delightful chocolate mouse to acknowledge my date’s birthday. It is a great value relative to the first rate quality. The setting was beautiful overlooking the water and SC forest. Everything about it was perfect for what we were looking for and it’s conveniently located near the Marriott Beach resort entrance.
