After a poor experience in years past, we heard establishment under newer ownership & management, so gave it another try. Experience wasn't anything specific to complain about, just an average, perhaps better than average touristy upscale venue. On average thought menu was pricey and not overly appealing. There are better places on the island to spend $100+ for two.
My experience was a bit underwhelming-perhaps my expectations were too high. Service was fine, but I was disappointed in my meal. I hd the special (tile fish); sauce was tasty, but the fish was overcooked as was one of the two scallops accompanying it. Even if done perfectly, the price was too high ($41).
Gracious hostess, funny bartender, lovely menu
Last week was our first visit to Alexanders and will not be our last. All around the service was top notch, from our bartender to the waiter to the support staff. Our cocktails were perfect, and the food, wine, and dessert were amazing! Super date night!!
Lobster tails had too much seasoning. Hard to taste the lobster! Prime Rib was cut too thin making it hard to get to the temperature I preferred.
