Frankly I was disappointed. For this price ($217 for two), I expected an exceptional experience. First, they tried to seat us in the noisy bar area when the dining room had tables open. I got an above average experience but at a premium price. My server was new and didn’t know much about wine. My grouper and Caesar salad was only ok. My date’s lobster was very good. I doubt that I will come back.
If I was not a resident of Palmetto Dunes, I would still drive from the mainland to dine at Alexander's. The employees are so pleasant and willing to make your dining experience a great one. The menu choices are great as well.
