We ate late. Staying at the Marriott there. Service was a little too slow to return to table-/ for more water, coke and wine. Also, desired more delicious bread and had to wait too long to have a couple more rolls. Food was excellent. Cheese and bread plate-toasted bread was a little burnt. Overall good, but, very expensive. Desserts outstanding.
We have lived nearby Alexander's for about 4 years. We were encouraged to try the restaurant since new management. We went for the first time a month ago and again last week. The food and service were outstanding. Couldn't have been more impressed. We will definitely be back.
A classically Southern style building, with an old enclosed porch that has just the right degree of authenticity. Not too self-conscious, and thank Heaven not trendy! Greg provided us outstanding service and suggestions, which added to the relaxation and quality time we've sorely been needing. He anticipated our needs beautifully.
