Our group sat in the patio which was very scenic. Food came quickly and was very tasty but didn't feel rushed. Our two kids had the option of a "kids" menu for 10 and under or a young adults "14 or under". Great wine selection by the glass. We will return.
My husband and I love Alexander's as a date night out on HHI. On the creek in Palmetto Dunes, excellent wine selection and outstanding food. Never rushed. Moderate dress code = classy. We appreciate a nice place to go without the sand and kids every now and then.
We ate twice at this restaurant while staying in Hilton Head for the week. Both meals were excellent! Although we feel this is a great restaurant for all, some families with very young children may not find it the best for them.
This is our third visit to Alexander's. Each time, food was outstanding, service was fabulous, decor/ambiance excellent - consistency to assure you of a great dining experience. We especially enjoy the menu options (baked flounder Rockefeller & wiener schnitzel are favorites), congenial staff, and scenic view overlooking the river. Plus, there is early dining ...an amazing value.
