TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Please give giovani a mother hecking raise. He sprinted after our truck to give us the rest of our food after someone else forgot to give us half our order. He truly made our day and we appreciate him so very much. Truly the definition of going above and beyond!!!

Best food, customer service, and professionalism around. In the days where everyone is trying to compete for Best Chicken, Dave's is the clear favorite in the area. Bigger portions than Raisin Canes, better crunch than Chick Fil A, and better spicy than KFC. Excellent spot.
My husband recently took home Dave's hot chicken nuggets and cauliflower with fries. I was surprised that the chicken was both crispy on the outside and how tender inside. It tasted welldifferent from the rest! They use various spices that made it soooo good. The cauliflower was on the same taste palate, delicious! Fries are thick and cooked well. My GF and I came here for the first time today. We both got the number 3 . One slider, one tender, and fries. Large portions and fantastic quality! Extra spicy was perfect for me. We'll be back!

Great service from the gal at the register! Made great suggestions to first time customers (including me) I had a slider in extra hot and a tender in hot. Both were tasty! Seasoned Fries were crispy and also tasty! Next time I'm trying the Reaper sauce!

Great place!! I brought my group of students to work on their skills of ordering and paying for lunch. The staff could not have been more respectful, patient, friendly and helpful! Christina and her staff are fantastic! Thank you for your support. Restaurant was very clean, service was fast and food was great!!

Christina at the drive up window was SO SWEET! She seems like a great employee and I hope this gets to her management! The food is great as usual- but the customer service was even better!!
Kristina is TOP TIER!! Unsure if she is a manager or an hourly worker, but she is EXTREMELY friendly and super professional. You don't get costumer service like this often, she is PHENOMENAL! Food is also bomb.
