TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The chicken is really flavorful and cooked when you order it so it isn't sitting around getting soggy. I order the hot spice level and I really enjoy it. They gave multiple levels of spice including no spice for those who prefer that. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere had cool spray paint graphics but the noise level is high due to the large open spaces and fast food vibe.
Best hot chicken around. Not too gritty. Sliders topped with cheese, kaleslaw, pickles are the best. Oreo shake tastes delicious too. Our cashier was knowledgeable and friendly.
The food is delicious and I am grateful it is Halal! Word of caution that their flavor of hot is not for beginners 😊 otherwise enjoy this wonderful spot. We even ordered on Uber eats in which hour delivery driver messed up our order and Dave’s hot chicken took care of everything in a amazing way so I truly appreciate their level of service especially when mistakes may happen. Since then my orders have been perfect.
First time customers. My husband and I really enjoyed the chicken tenders medium spice with the Dave's sauce. Went through the drive thru. The wait was a little long but it was definitely worth it. The medium spice was just right. Fry's are good too. We will definitely eat there again 👍 Service was 5 ⭐
Hot chicken in general is hit or miss these days but this hot chicken is great! The extra hot is the perfect amount of spice and selling sliders instead of a big sandwich is a great idea since you get more flavor. Staff was also super cool at this location.
