They were grossly unprofessional and unprepared, which resulted in them destroying valuables, things going missing, a much higher final bill than the estimate, and a settlement offer that is downright insulting.
If I could make this NEGATIVE STARS I would. But I’m forced to give them one just to write this review about how terrible they were. We scheduled our move date over three months ago and CONFIRMED NUMEROUS times for the date and time. June 26th we waited and waited for the movers to show up. 9am rolls around and no call no movers. They weren't great. Needed a LOT of direction, as in, come back in the house and get all of these boxes from this room, and that room, and that room. . . Charged us to box up things that weren't boxed, as in, plastic bins that were closed. . . There were circumstances out of our control so that we couldn't move into our new home, so we paid $250/hour for 10 hours PLUS expenses to NOT have our things moved into the house, into the garage only. I used All My Sons to move and I wish I hadn't. First I was quoted a rate of 140.00 an hour and when they showed up in the contract they were charging 160.00 an hr. At that point I had to pay what they wanted, I didn't have time to get someone else. Then after they were done I found boxes that were supposed to go to storage that they left and I had to take them myself. I paid almost 3k and had to move my own boxes. Stay away from this company. May 30, my elderly parents hired All My Sons Moving & Storage to simply move three pieces of furniture from their bedroom into their garage for a floor remodel. The bill they received reveals that this took 15 minutes. When my father spoke with them to arrange the job, he told them what it entailed and was told that they charged $116 per hour. This is really the worst moving experience I have had, I chose AMS because of the Google Reviews. However, those guys are dishonest, they took way many breaks and are unwilling to count them, and they even had a couple of my items damaged. The company also makes the whole process very inconvenient for claiming for the damage.
every way possible they lie, they steal, and damage your things, they over charge and refuse to do anything about it!!
So I just had the craziest experience. I scheduled a 2 day move with All My Sons for an estimate of $4500.00 / 6 bedroom house. The 4 man moving team was fantastic (which is why I am giving 2 stars.) I paid a $400 deposit, they moved my in home office into new office space, and then packed an moved a full-truck into storage. My wife and I helped and coordinated the move throughout the day.
