Don't book for days and times you are not available. If you are going to cancel because of rain (not lighting) do so as far in advance as possible. I was called at 7:27am when my move time was between 8-9:30 and was told by Chad that he didn't want to bother waking his guys up since it was raining. I will update a detailed review. Right now I just wish I listened to the reviews to begin with. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! First off, I made it clear that I can’t pay more than what I get quoted for so I got quoted a worst case scenario estimate. The man who came to my house assured me over and over that they aren’t like other moving companies and that’s the reason why they do in home quotes. The guys who moved us were friendly, but this is by far the shadiest company we’ve ever hired to move us. The “estimate” they give you is nowhere near how much they actually charge you, for us it was more than DOUBLE the amount. Not only that but we were charged for 11.5 hours of labor when they actually worked 7.5 hours. The exact travel time was an hour and a half, but somehow they took 3 hours and didn’t report that to the owners, so again we were over charged an extra hour and half of labor. We hired All My Sons to move us from Orlando to Raleigh. We had a binding rate of $4500 and I am glad we did. They arrived on time for moving day and I was told by the sales rep, the dispatcher, and the movers that it would take 4 - 6 hours to load. They took 10 hours and blamed having to use the elevator for the overtime. We had moved into and out of that building in the past and never had the elevator issues. They are a RIP off. For 3.5 hours of service it cost me 632.00, mind you I wasn't moving a whole house just some items. Mapquest said it takes 27 mins to get from my destination and it took the driver 55 mins. I left him in front of the home where my items was picked up, and then I went to Dunken Donuts where I waited behind 5 cars and I still reached home before him, plus I unloaded my car by the time the driver reached my home. This is THE WORST MOVING COMPANY!! They are a scam! I was charged over $900 for 2 hours of moving. The workers didn't even move all that I needed moved! I'm calling my lawyer!! I spoke to the owner Scott, who kept acting like he couldn't hear me when I asked for and explanation of fees! So he hung up! Worst moving company I have ever used. And the worst costumer service ever. Getting yelled at for the movers forgetting my dresser and rug. They also scratched every price of furniture, and aren’t even being reasonable to talk to. Will never ever ever be going back there.
