I like the hourly charge as it has saved me money compared to other movers quotes.
The quote initially provided was not accurate and we were overcharged by $600. One of the movers stole an item and was caught doing so. Our personal information was also exposed to this particular individual. However, when we addressed this with management they said we did not have proof of this theft and became irrational. We paid a $100 deposit which it was my understanding would go towards the service. The person who gave us the quote also did NOT include the "supplies" that they require the movers to use. We are positive that half of the "supplies" we were charged for were NOT used. Based on the phone conversation for the quote- it was explained that the $100 "deposit" would go towards the amount that was shown to me at the end of the move - but that was not the case. The operations manager, AJ, convinced me to hire a 3 man crew instead of 2, and was confident that they could easily fit the inventory list I provided them on their truck. At the pickup house, the movers tore a wooden gate off of its hinges, pulled a storm door frame off from the house, and hit a toilet so hard moving my dryer that it broke the flange. It was a horrible experience. The truck they brought was too small, it was much more expensive than expected, items were damaged. We had to rent a second truck and move 4 huge loads ourselves. Run the other way,

A lot of breakage. One team member really was rough with things - I do not think he had any experience. Way Too pricey for the low quality.
These guys destroyed my dresser, scratched my bed and another dresser, damaged my wood stairs case, and damaged the drywall at both the pickup and drop off houses. The estimate was for 3 hours to move 11 pieces of furniture and it took over 8 hours and the charges were at an hourly rate. I put a claim in for my damages and they only reimbursed $234 when one of the damaged dressers cost $663 to replace.
