The ambiance was fun and lively. The decor is kitschy but not over the top and lower energy dance music played all evening. Our server, Pietro gave us great recommendations for food. The prosciutto and burrata was perfectly balanced and the burrata was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. We also had a butter lettuce salad with goat cheese, candied walnuts and pears. We ate there on Christmas Day. The food is probably different or being limited due to the holiday. We’ll try it at the regular days.
Overall great experience of food and ambiance within little Italy.
Three-course pre-fixe Christmas dinner and they were fairly busy. The music was too loud and aggressive to be comfortable. Calamari were inedibly tough. Exchanged it for the house salad (with pear and blue cheese) which was good. Pesto with shrimp was just okay. Small shrimp. Served the chocolate mousse instead of the ordered tiramisu. Not worth the hassles of traffic and parking in Little Italy.
It was a lovely evening, the food was superb, the service was awesome and so friendly. We arrived way earlier than our reservation and they still accommodate us.
What an incredible dinner! The menu is fantastic. The food was beyond description, it was so good. I had lamb shanks (lamb cannot be prepared better than this). Spouse had short rib pasta; best she/we’ve ever tasted. Tiramisu finish was on point. The service was superb. Just the right amount of attention, polite and helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating was lovely. I really want to bring a group to one of the fire tables. Oh, and that parmesan and mushroom pasta wheel; that’s happening next time!
