I truly enjoyed my visit to the Alabama Asthma and Allergy Center in Hoover today because they listened, worked me into their tight schedule and were extremely friendly. I’ll be having some more tests done after a few weeks and I’m really looking forward to it. The staff was very knowledgeable and they wanted to explore every option of care. I would recommend Dr. Lorena Wilson and her fine staff to anyone. Thank you for making me feel better.
Everything was fine until the Dr. insulted my intelligence and referenced that she went to school for a "long time" to be able to do her job. I'm well aware of how long it takes as I have a doctorate. There is a way to present information. Because she was unable to interpret my facial expressions, she equated that to me lacking an understanding of what she was telling me. That was not the case.
