American roofing company came to me on a referral from a neighbor, after I had tried hiring another company that had very poor communication. Matt was quick to reply, professional and courteous to work with. This company came by our neighborhood going door to door. The young man told my wife she had damage to the roof and that they were in the area "helping people". The man was shocked to learn our roof was replaced last Summer and had zero damage from the storms that went through. Not only could he not see the roof due to our property terrain but had no idea the actual condition of the roof. Do not use this company. They do not value their customers and lack communication skills. A project that was written on our contract to take 3-4 business days has now taken 18 and is still not completed. When we ask for a schedule of work to be done or a tentative completion date they do not answer. We have asked 4 times now. The workers will no show up (happened twice) and you will have to call them to see why instead of them notifying you.
