We've had positive experiences with Amerigas. *********** is responsive. Website is easy to use, best for placing orders. Text messages provided concerning order status. Price is typically lowest in our area.
I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. When cancelling service with Amerigas, BEWARE! I had called on 10/9/26 to cancel my service, ultimately I had found a local company that guaranteed me to save over $2.00 per gallon, and had a less expensive tank rental fee. So after being on hold for 55 minutes, I finally was connected to a gentleman who was very courteous, and basically gave me the breakdown on what would occur - that I would be charged a $119 fee for pick-up, but I would be receiving a credit due to my tank being half full at paid for price (52 gallons at ... read more
Amerigas/Maverick propane bottle exchange IN ******, ID - BEWARE!!! I have a Mopeka device that magnetic attaches to bottom of propane Tank and tells me the what percentage of propane is in the bottle. The percentage of the 1st bottle purchased indicated empty on my Mopeka phone app before leaving Maverik. I showed the store clerk. I exchanged for another bottle it reported 84%. My propane bottle at my RV reports 98% full. AMERIGAS IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF@@
I tried to leave 0 starts but, that is not possible. This is a horrible company when it comes to customer service and logistics. They committed to relocate my tank TWICE which I received confirmation texts/emails for and both times they did not show up and I did not receive a call as to why. Continued to run out of fuel when told I was on auto fill. Couldnt help when out of propane during emergency. Changed to new provider and got a bill for $455 for tank pickup Hidden cost. Took them over a year to pick up the tank and then outrageous bill for pickup
Amerigas complaint Contacted them to buy the propane tank that I currently lease. After talking to three different people, the answer was no. Stated that they do not sell any tank above 240 gallons. This is a false statement. Other statement is that they are not selling their assets at this time. Another false statement.
