We've had positive experiences with Amerigas. *********** is responsive. Website is easy to use, best for placing orders. Text messages provided concerning order status. Price is typically lowest in our area.
I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. I tried to leave 0 starts but, that is not possible. This is a horrible company when it comes to customer service and logistics. They committed to relocate my tank TWICE which I received confirmation texts/emails for and both times they did not show up and I did not receive a call as to why. Continued to run out of fuel when told I was on auto fill. Couldnt help when out of propane during emergency. Changed to new provider and got a bill for $455 for tank pickup Hidden cost. Took them over a year to pick up the tank and then outrageous bill for pickup
Amerigas complaint Contacted them to buy the propane tank that I currently lease. After talking to three different people, the answer was no. Stated that they do not sell any tank above 240 gallons. This is a false statement. Other statement is that they are not selling their assets at this time. Another false statement. This email serves as a former complaint to your company for ongoing issues with getting a delivery to our familys home for a gas refill. After a missed delivery date we called to follow up and spent several hours on hold to be told there was a flag to our account that there was a pause on delivery. I wish I could give them a negative star rating because thats what they deserve. We Purchased a home that already had an amerigas tank. Called around for pricing and found a company much cheaper than AmeriGas called this morning to stop service and have someone come and pick up the tank and they charge $199 for a disconnection fee and $199 to come and pick up the tank. That is absolutely ridiculous. Its already disconnected so why should we pay a fee for that so a total of $450 including tax for them to take their stupid tan... read more
