They tried to carve a return fee on a tank I never used.
Would leave 0 if I could. This company is not worth even considering. They didn't deliver to us in time even though we pre-paid for the delivery and it caused us to smell propane and run out of propane. We called the emergency line was told to evacuate due to possible leak, which we knew it was most likely being out. The order had been in a little over a week. Almost no domestic customer service. No local communication. Never on time. Nobody you call can help with anything. They take advantage of customers that are in high need of their product and ***** prices. Go with any other propane company than this.
As others have stated already, WORST COMPANY EVER. I won't bother going into the details - just look at the other reviews. Do not sign up for service with this company - go anywhere else - ANYWHERE!
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but apologies. Deliveries late, unauthorized work done to my tank. If I could give them 0 stars I would or even negative stars. Don't waste your time with this company.
This is the worst company to deal with! If you need customer service be ready to be on the phone for an hour if not more and might talk to two people during that time. Use a different company! Beware they should be called ***** Gas not Amerigas! They said they delivered gas and it never was!
I see there are many complaints about Amerigas. We need propane, we were at 20some%, now at 3. It's winter. The delivery window is way past and the foreign call center keeps disconnecting my calls. On the phone for 2 hours yesterday, disconnected. Again today - twice disconnected. These people need to be out of business. They own the tanks, we rent them. We started our service earlier this year after having some issues with a local company called National Propane. In short, this is our first Winter as an Amerigas client. My propane tank was down to 5% and when the ice storm hit, we ran out of heat. The company was able to see on their end that we were low and did not even notify us. They then proceeded to charge us a $300 service call fee in order to fill the tank out of our regular delivery schedule. We were without heat for 5 days.
