I called Amerigas on 1/19/26 to deliver as I was at 20% in tank . Scheduled the delivery between 1/27-1/30. I called on 1/30 as I hadnt gotten the notification for delivery and an ice storm was coming in and temperatures were going down to about 10 degrees . I was told they would be there by end of day but did not show up. Over the next 10 days I called 21 times and always got a foreign person that I could barely understand from a call center . Although we reported that our propane level was low (approximately 30% left in our tank), Amerigas was unable to schedule a timely refill, and then they MISSED their delivery window. We are now using electric heat instead of propane (due to lack of propane gas). Amerigas cannot even tell us WHEN they will be able to deliver more propane.
I wish I knew what it was like to work somewhere I can hide behind a call center. I have been without heat for over a week. I was supposed to get my tank swapped and refilled yesterday. No calls. No messages. No emails. No one shows up. I call my service coordinator and leave several messages. Again, no response. I call my providers office. Again, straight to the call center. Almost no domestic customer service. No local communication. Never on time. Nobody you call can help with anything. They take advantage of customers that are in high need of their product and ***** prices. Go with any other propane company than this.
They tried to carve a return fee on a tank I never used.
As others have stated already, WORST COMPANY EVER. I won't bother going into the details - just look at the other reviews. Do not sign up for service with this company - go anywhere else - ANYWHERE!
This is the worst company to deal with! If you need customer service be ready to be on the phone for an hour if not more and might talk to two people during that time. Use a different company! Beware they should be called ***** Gas not Amerigas! They said they delivered gas and it never was!
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but apologies. Deliveries late, unauthorized work done to my tank. If I could give them 0 stars I would or even negative stars. Don't waste your time with this company.
**************** is awful. Overseas call centers with representatives speaking with accents that even there own employees can't understand. Scheduled service appointments are not kept. Service **** arrive un-equpped to do the service required. The only thing that arrives on time is their bill.
