On Sept 14, 2024 I called the local company, got a menu on VM, used prompt for gas leek on an outdoor propane grill. Response was a technician would be sent out to my residence. About 2 hours later one showed up-checked the grill found a leak and disconnected the gas line to our in ground tank. Took him ~ 5 minutes to do this. He then proceeded to check our other gas appliances, which I did not ask him to do--gas cooktop- 1 minute, dryer-2 minutes, tankless waterheaters, inground tank. I sold my home and the purchaser did not want to use AmeriGas. I used their online chat service to close my account and request a pickup of the tank. One month later, the tank is still on the property, they cannot provide a date as to when the tank can be removed. Their overall service was poor, too often I had to call and ask for a delivery, when on their auto deliver program. I should have canceled a long time ago before I moved.
The Worst Company Ever!! I worked for a company that was sold to amerigas. Their policies lost massive amounts of customers. Managers had no ******************** experience at all, and they wouldn't listen to common sense ideas. If I had it to do over, I would have left the day ***** Gas was sold. It was one horrible experience!
If I have to dig my frigging 500 gallon tank out of the ground, and switch from Amerigas, I might do it!!!! I've had a couple of issues lately, and I can't reach a customer representative that isn't from frigging India, and who I can understand!!! Please go out of business you losers!!!!
Unable to get customer service. After ***** on the phone, was disconnected over and over again. They took a prepayment but began delaying service. And now am unable to contact them to refund me or deliver propane. Recommend never using this company
Worst company to ever do business with! Don't waste your time they will do nothing for you but rip you off! Charge you unnecessary fees and won't give you a customer service person to talk to that speaks english!
Worst company to work with, I can only ever talk to a 3rd party who barley understands me. Overcharged and charged incorrectly again and again.
Absolute worst customer service ever. Their phone numbers direct you to a call center in ***** and are less than helpful. I finally got a number to a a corporate office and reached a receptionist in the ** where they told me I would receive a call back and never did. I have had their service for 10+ yrs and am on a plan where they come and top off my tank every month (to avoid a huge bill for filling the whole tank), my bill is generally $10-$30. We paid for propane on 11/22 with a delivery window for 12/29-12/2. Its now the end of day and after calling for 3 days we have yet to receive propane. Ive been hung up on and promised delivery for the dates to continuously be pushed back. Its ************************************************ the home and we heat our home with gas. Ive alerted them several times about children being in the home and still no delivery. We are using space heaters which is causing our electric bill to increase tremendously.
