We've had positive experiences with Amerigas. *********** is responsive. Website is easy to use, best for placing orders. Text messages provided concerning order status. Price is typically lowest in our area.
I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. Amerigas complaint Contacted them to buy the propane tank that I currently lease. After talking to three different people, the answer was no. Stated that they do not sell any tank above 240 gallons. This is a false statement. Other statement is that they are not selling their assets at this time. Another false statement. This email serves as a former complaint to your company for ongoing issues with getting a delivery to our familys home for a gas refill. After a missed delivery date we called to follow up and spent several hours on hold to be told there was a flag to our account that there was a pause on delivery. We had not received any prior notice to make us aware. No email no call no letter not anything regarding this hold due to a potentially serious issue. I wish I could give them a negative star rating because thats what they deserve. We Purchased a home that already had an amerigas tank. Called around for pricing and found a company much cheaper than AmeriGas called this morning to stop service and have someone come and pick up the tank and they charge $199 for a disconnection fee and $199 to come and pick up the tank. We have used Amerigas on and off for our propane needs over the years. Overall, they have maintained competitive gas prices. However, in July of this year, we felt they took total advantage of us. We suspected a gas leak at our owned tank. We had purchased the tank from a company that Amerigas had previously purchased. We called, and they promptly sent a representative to test for a leak and fix it if needed. There was a leak, and the representative replaced a regulator in two hours. Unfortunately I cannot rate them zero stars. The absolute worst customer service! And to make matters worse, they really do NOT care! Wait times are are often 1 hour plus to speak to a representative. Nobody can resolve anything, They will transfer you for additional wait times and you can almost bet on a dropped call on a transfer, to only have to do it all over again.
