**************** is a nightmare to deal with. They transfer the call and drop the call numerous times and leave you on hold for an hour to 2 hours plus each time. When I asked to speak to a manager I was on hold another 1/2 hour and was given excuses for the long hold times and dropped calls. Stating that they just brought customer service back to the states. **************** is nonexistent! Absolutely terrible company. Clearly they are doing noting to regulate or manage their offices all across the country as evidenced by all of the negative reviews. What kind of company treats their customers this way? I have been on hold waiting almost 3 hours now. The first call was answered 47 minutes after I was on hold and I was disconnected/hung up on and now I am at 45 minutes and counting. AmeriGas filled my tank in 2022 and I used it three times and in the last two years 45% was lost due to a leaky regulator and a faulty valve. They installed a new regulator but did not repair the faulty valve and they have ignored my many request to credit me. I burn wood and have a heat pump. It is too bad the better business is powerless to help me. The worker and representative are courteous, but the corporate office is corrupt! Refuse to do business with them.

Worst company ever. Never deliver when scheduled. Longest hold times just to be hung up on. Especially high prices. Rude customer service who lies. Charges tank rental for your own tank. Calls customers liars. Avoid at all cost

My experience with AmeriGas during the last few years has been less than desirable. After years of paying the highest (by a huge margin) for gas, AmeriGas wants to charge me over $400 to remove the tank I rented.The current price that was quoted by AmeriGas to fill my tank was $4.19 per gallon. I checked with 3 other propane companies and the spot prices for all 3 were below $2 per gallon. After gouging me for years on the price, they now want to charge me $400 for removing their tank.I would suggest that anyone needing new ... read more

Some minor problems with delivery, but when I changed to a company that was less expensive and offered more service , they charged me $485 just to pick up the tank. I feel this is an unfair practice. They said it was in the terms and conditions, but that doesn't make it right. That was 2 months of food for me. I'm a senior and live on a limited income.I would like them to give me back my money.

If I could leave a zero star I would. I hired Amerigas in the fall of 2025. I own my tank and they came out to fill it and told me that the tank was defective. I had their tech come out to repair my tank and while he was there he told me that there was nothing wrong with my tank. He said that there was some dirt near the filler neck but it was not necessary for him to service the tank. All that was needed was to clean the dirt away from the filler valve. they charged me $450 for the needless service. Fast forward to July. I ... read more

My parent had a account with *******************************. They are both gone on. They owned their tank my son bought the house. Now amerigas says it their tank. We have no proof. Neither do they.
