Would leave a 0 star if that were allowed. Did online order for refill and was quoted $4.25 per gallon. The going rate at this time from other 3 companies Ive checked with is $2.25 per gallon. Almost double. Since I lease the tank from them, I have no option for other companies to fill. Tried to call the local office and got transferred to somewhere outside of the ** at least 3 times. Amerigas is the most unprofessional company, they don't care about customers. They don't respond to questions, problems or service issues. I have tried for six weeks to have a tank removed now their data base says I do not exist as a customer. They deleted me but have not come for the tank or credited me owed funds. You are not able to talk to anyone in the USA that has a clue about geography or issues facing the winter season and all the noise in the back ground is ridiculous to hear or be heard. Charged for a tank rental. Multiple attempts to have them delete the charge as I OWN MY OWN TANK!!!!!
Their customer service is HORRIFIC! I've been a customer for 18 years. Last year, they charged me a tank rental fee on top of filling the tank. After calling and not being able to have a conversation with someone who could speak English, I emailed Amerigas twice (have not heard back). I chatted online with a representative today and advised he/she to close the account and pick up the tank. Shraddha told me there would be a $299 charge to pick the tank up. This is absurd. The WORST propane company I have ever dealt withIve been a customer with them for a couple years and it has been nothing but terrible experience. I prepay for all of my orders and they issue a expected delivery time frame..I get that but what is crazy and unprofessional is sending out a text or phone call stating my delivery will be delivered today by the end of the day, then receive a text 5 minutes later stating it will be delivered the next business day. O STARS!!!! This company is the absolutely the worst to work. Their customer service is non-existent and they do not act ethically. I would strongly recommend that you never use their service.
Havent had a tank in two years repeatedly get bills for it, have to call a ***** and wait on line for 15 to 20 minutes.. this is ridiculous!
They charge a fee for everything. Fees for dispatching a truck, a call in fee, pick up fee and customer service is a joke. You can no longer call your local office and talk to someone, all customer service is centralized at call centers where English is obviously a second language for most operators. So be prepared to overpay and wait on hold for hours to talk to someone you cant understand.
STAY AWAY from AMERIGAS !!!! Their customer service is horrible. I rented a ********** tank from the company and the first tank that was sent had a leaky valve and gauge. I called Amerigas and someone came out and told me to use the rest of the gas and so he could repair the valve. When I used the remaining, they came out repaired the valve refilled the tank. I noticed I could still smell propane and he said its probably lingering becuase he was working on the valve. After a couple days I went back out and could smell gas. I... read more
