I was going to detail my experience with Amerigas here ... but as I read all of the negative reviews. and NO good reviews I don't think I need to. This is the worst propane company that I have ever dealt with and I have had propane for 25 years at my last 3 homes.... so that is saying a lot. Amerigas doesn't deserve a star. There should be an option for negative stars. This business is truly the worst. They lie constantly. Our tank is on auto-fill, yet they dont monitor it at all. When it runs out of propane, they claim theyll come within 24 hours, but youre lucky if they show up within a week.Calling them is just as bad. They ******* you with endless questions and still dont do anything to help. We have used Amerigas for 20+ years. About 10 years ago we installed a generator and added a second tank. it has been a headache ever since. Somehow they can't get it all on one account, and currently, in the aftermath of an ice storm, no power for 6 days and no restoration for a week to 2, they say that account is a prepay account because we "fail a credit check" somehow considering our 800+ credit score and perfect payment record, and are postponing our refill. we've been running the generator 2 to 4 hours a day, but are v... read more

ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!We were a customer of Titan ******************** before AmeriGas bought them out in our area. So, we have been a customer of ********************** for at least 15 years now. Called them for a refill 2 months ago and the price they quoted was $3.37 per gallon. We called another local establishment, and their price was $1.87 per gallon. AMERIgas is a company that makes my skin crawl. They say place an order at 30% only because it takes 3 weeks just to get an order filled. No sense of urgency is emergency situations!! They DO NOT care about their customers. Never a pleasant delivery. If the driver is lazy which they all are they will report anything to stop a delivery from happening like stating theirs a car on driveway when no car is present. Dogs on site when owner has no dogs. I have been a costumer for over 20 years. Never have I ever dealt with the amount of neglect and frustration that I have been dealing with this past week, the coldest week of the year. How could they drop the ball and not think something was wrong when they have been delivering fuel to us every 6 months that we would not be out of fuel if our last delivery was in January 2025. I wish I could rank Amerigas zero stars as they dont deserve even one. Avoid this company if you want dependable and timely delivery of propane. On my most recent attempt to get a fill up, they scheduled two different delivery dates and missed both. They did not reschedule after either missed date, I had to call to reschedule. The customer service advocates (NOT local) seemed unable to do anything except read what I could view online myself. If I could give them a -10, I would worst business ever and my whole 56 years of life they overfilled my tank and blew up my regulator, causing a gas leak. They told me it was $300 an hour for a service fee so I told them not to come out that I would fix it on my own they showed up anyway I told them to leave. He proceeded to work on my gas leak after I told him to leave. Worst customer service ever! My information was never correct. I was told numerous stories why mistakes were my fault, when they actually were the ones who made the mistake.
