Would leave 0 if I could. This company is not worth even considering. They didn't deliver to us in time even though we pre-paid for the delivery and it caused us to smell propane and run out of propane. We called the emergency line was told to evacuate due to possible leak, which we knew it was most likely being out. The order had been in a little over a week. Key facts about Amerigas:1. Higher prices compared to competitors 2. Extraordinarily unreliable deliveries 3. Useless customer service (off shored with no possibility to speak to local or corporate personnel)4. An apparent culture of disdain for customers and total lack of ethics.5. My consumer complaint is one of about 200 filed with my state's attorney ****************. TLDR: they've totally earned their dismal reputation. Do business with them only if you enjoy being treated like c*** .

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but apologies. Deliveries late, unauthorized work done to my tank. If I could give them 0 stars I would or even negative stars. Don't waste your time with this company.

This is the worst company to deal with! If you need customer service be ready to be on the phone for an hour if not more and might talk to two people during that time. Use a different company! Beware they should be called ***** Gas not Amerigas! They said they delivered gas and it never was!

As others have stated already, WORST COMPANY EVER. I won't bother going into the details - just look at the other reviews. Do not sign up for service with this company - go anywhere else - ANYWHERE!

We started our service earlier this year after having some issues with a local company called National Propane. In short, this is our first Winter as an Amerigas client. Do NOT use Amerigas. Check other companies near you and I bet they are half the cost. I made numerous attempts to speak with customer service to remain a customer with them, but nobody I talked to cared to assist me with lowering my bill what so ever. I switched companies and now have a bill for $460 for them to pick up my tank. My contract said it would be much less than that, but since my contract also states they can change the price at anytime, they said too bad. I see there are many complaints about Amerigas. We need propane, we were at 20some%, now at 3. It's winter. The delivery window is way past and the foreign call center keeps disconnecting my calls. On the phone for 2 hours yesterday, disconnected. Again today - twice disconnected. These people need to be out of business. They own the tanks, we rent them.
