Almost no domestic customer service. No local communication. Never on time. Nobody you call can help with anything. They take advantage of customers that are in high need of their product and ***** prices. Go with any other propane company than this.
They tried to carve a return fee on a tank I never used.
Would leave 0 if I could. This company is not worth even considering. They didn't deliver to us in time even though we pre-paid for the delivery and it caused us to smell propane and run out of propane. We called the emergency line was told to evacuate due to possible leak, which we knew it was most likely being out. The order had been in a little over a week. Key facts about Amerigas:1. Higher prices compared to competitors 2. Extraordinarily unreliable deliveries 3. Useless customer service (off shored with no possibility to speak to local or corporate personnel)4. An apparent culture of disdain for customers and total lack of ethics.5. My consumer complaint is one of about 200 filed with my state's attorney ****************. TLDR: they've totally earned their dismal reputation. Do business with them only if you enjoy being treated like c*** .
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but apologies. Deliveries late, unauthorized work done to my tank. If I could give them 0 stars I would or even negative stars. Don't waste your time with this company.
As others have stated already, WORST COMPANY EVER. I won't bother going into the details - just look at the other reviews. Do not sign up for service with this company - go anywhere else - ANYWHERE!
This is the worst company to deal with! If you need customer service be ready to be on the phone for an hour if not more and might talk to two people during that time. Use a different company! Beware they should be called ***** Gas not Amerigas! They said they delivered gas and it never was!
0 stars. Every time I need to interact with this company, it is more unpleasant than the previous time. I have had to repeat the same information to 3 or 4 different people all for them to realize they cant help me and need to send me to someone else and start the whole process over. My propane tank was down to 5% and when the ice storm hit, we ran out of heat. The company was able to see on their end that we were low and did not even notify us. They then proceeded to charge us a $300 service call fee in order to fill the tank out of our regular delivery schedule. We were without heat for 5 days.
