They tried to carve a return fee on a tank I never used.

Useless customer service (off shored with no possibility to speak to local or corporate personnel)4. An apparent culture of disdain for customers and total lack of ethics.5. My consumer complaint is one of about 200 filed with my state's attorney ****************. TLDR: they've totally earned their dismal reputation. Do business with them only if you enjoy being treated like c*** .
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but apologies. Deliveries late, unauthorized work done to my tank. If I could give them 0 stars I would or even negative stars. Don't waste your time with this company.
As others have stated already, WORST COMPANY EVER. I won't bother going into the details - just look at the other reviews. Do not sign up for service with this company - go anywhere else - ANYWHERE!
This is the worst company to deal with! If you need customer service be ready to be on the phone for an hour if not more and might talk to two people during that time. Use a different company! Beware they should be called ***** Gas not Amerigas! They said they delivered gas and it never was!
Do NOT use Amerigas. Check other companies near you and I bet they are half the cost. I made numerous attempts to speak with customer service to remain a customer with them, but nobody I talked to cared to assist me with lowering my bill what so ever. I switched companies and now have a bill for $460 for them to pick up my tank. My contract said it would be much less than that, but since my contract also states they can change the price at anytime, they said too bad. We started our service earlier this year after having some issues with a local company called National Propane. In short, this is our first Winter as an Amerigas client. We were scheduled for delivery on 22 JAN, but they did not show up. We were rescheduled for 2 FEB, and they claimed they showed up and were unable to pass up our driveway. My propane tank was down to 5% and when the ice storm hit, we ran out of heat. The company was able to see on their end that we were low and did not even notify us. They then proceeded to charge us a $300 service call fee in order to fill the tank out of our regular delivery schedule. We were without heat for 5 days.
0 stars. Every time I need to interact with this company, it is more unpleasant than the previous time. I have had to repeat the same information to 3 or 4 different people all for them to realize they cant help me and need to send me to someone else and start the whole process over. I have sat on hold for 30 minutes to an hour each time I call. There is no urgency to help in emergencies and they do not care about their customers.
