I recently placed an order for propane with Amerigas. After waiting a full week after they said they would have it out to me, I called a call center somewhere on the other side of the world. I canceled the delivery and was told the first time that only a credit to my account could be appropriated, then got transferred to the billing department to get disconnected several times because they "couldn't hear me". Worst company ever. Overseas phone reps who don’t know what they are doing or saying. Poor follow up, expensive propane and false promises.
Worst customer service ever - I ordered propane 2 weeks ago with a delivery date that was supposed to be LAST week - but now with a week overdue from Anmerigas delivery , I'm down to 3% gas and when I call for delivery update . with an answering service now in the Philippines - they say that they CANNOT call locally or call dispatch to see where my propane is - and this is on a PREPAID order - disgusted and frustrated and COLD
Again... My delivery was supposed to be 2 days ago I am about to run out of gas . This happened to me too 12/24/22 no hotwater and couldn't cook for Christmas I had to flag down a driver and he was coming from MIAMI......to my neighbor hood no drivers I thought the holidays was over .Now they said it will be here tomorrow I have zero....faith my delivery was due on the 22nd
this is the worst company ever... their service awful and the lied more than 4 times stating the deliveries would be made that day and they never arrived....
They have let me run out of propane for 4 straight years every January and usually on the coldest day. Number 5 was last night 1/21/2024. Claim their digital platform on their app here in VT. was not functioning - so why didn’t someone call?? % read 39 but ZERO on tanks. Am on Auto delivery and have a unique situation in my living space with pipes to my upstairs apt. in the ceiling of the garage below. Have to have heat so the pipes don’t burst. I was charged double the going rate for a fill in November 2023. When i called the local number to ask why i was directed to someone in another country who can't speak good English and was no help in resolving my problem. They went on to say I had signed a contract to lock in a price. I did not sign anything or agree to this and we don't even have a local office near us. AmeriGas is the biggest fraudster gas company I have ever seen. We have been without gas for 3 days now. Paid the expedited fee, for no reason because it has still been 3 days. Have been made multiple promises to come fill it and then no one shows after I miss an entire day of work for no reason. I cannot wait for them to come fill this tank and I cancel my service. If I could zero stars I would. I have been a custom for 10+ years with Amerigas. The last 2 years (ever since they got rid of all my local branches) I get charged for “not filling my tank enough” an it’s also been the second year in a row that I scheduled a January delivery, received a delivery date and they have not shown up. I live in Michigan, scheduled my delivery while my tank was at 30% and we have recently had -25 days today was my delivery date 1-22-24 and I’m now at 15% propane with more cold weather on the way and ... read more
