Key facts about Amerigas:1. Higher prices compared to competitors 2. Extraordinarily unreliable deliveries 3. Useless customer service (off shored with no possibility to speak to local or corporate personnel)4. An apparent culture of disdain for customers and total lack of ethics.5. My consumer complaint is one of about 200 filed with my state's attorney ****************. TLDR: they've totally earned their dismal reputation. Do business with them only if you enjoy being treated like c*** .

As others have stated already, WORST COMPANY EVER. I won't bother going into the details - just look at the other reviews. Do not sign up for service with this company - go anywhere else - ANYWHERE!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but apologies. Deliveries late, unauthorized work done to my tank. If I could give them 0 stars I would or even negative stars. Don't waste your time with this company.

This is the worst company to deal with! If you need customer service be ready to be on the phone for an hour if not more and might talk to two people during that time. Use a different company! Beware they should be called ***** Gas not Amerigas! They said they delivered gas and it never was!

I see there are many complaints about Amerigas. We need propane, we were at 20some%, now at 3. It's winter. The delivery window is way past and the foreign call center keeps disconnecting my calls. On the phone for 2 hours yesterday, disconnected. Again today - twice disconnected. These people need to be out of business. They own the tanks, we rent them. I rented a home in ***********, ** for six months, an outside gas bottle aready was beside the home which fueled the fireplace. I paid Amerigas to fill the bottle one time and paid for the service. Six months later I moved out of the home. One year later I receive another bill from Amerigas for rental for the gas bottle which was not their tank to begin with, and for additional changes for $247. 0 stars. Every time I need to interact with this company, it is more unpleasant than the previous time. I have had to repeat the same information to 3 or 4 different people all for them to realize they cant help me and need to send me to someone else and start the whole process over. I have sat on hold for 30 minutes to an hour each time I call. There is no urgency to help in emergencies and they do not care about their customers. If I could give a negative star I would. Amerigas let elderly people on auto refill run out of propane during winter weather. We were unable to use our heat, our gas stove or are gas fireplace. When we attempted to call we were placed on hold for hours. We were promised deliveries that never came. Terrible customer service. Very disappointing.
