My husband and I moved into Amica Bayview Village the year before the pandemic started. My husband’s health had been failing and I wanted him to be in a medically supported environment. We couldn’t have made a better decision. Whenever we needed a nurse, we just had to press a button. When we needed a doctor, we could have one come up to our suite so we didn’t have to struggle to get in a car and drive and park somewhere. My sister Marilyn has been very happy living at Amica Bayview Village for the past five years, and I have been quite impressed with the care and consideration all of the staff have given her. It must have been very tiresome and often frightful for the staff to carry out their normal and additional duties this past year in face of the COVID-19 pandemic. I commend and thank everyone working at Amica Bayview Village for their efforts.

Amica Bayview Village has well exceeded our expectations, especially during the pandemic. Our now 96-year old mother couldn't be in a better place to live out her remaining years. She is healthier and more relaxed than ever, eating better, and feeling safe and secure. The management and staff are first rate. Responsive. Responsible. Respectful. And Mom is not the easiest resident. She and we got very lucky.

Inadequate healthcare and cranky caregivers. My 91 year old grandfather hasn't been feeling well for 2 weeks, had chills, rapid breathing, loss of appetite. Nurses said he's fine, it's all in his head, old people forget how to breath they even told me! He is now in the hospital and was diagnosed with pneumonia, all of his symptoms where text book pneumonia. Any nurse with experience should have known this, especially a nurse for the elderly.
