Have been taking all our pets here for years. Absolutely the best. The vets have all been caring, the staff professional. They made themselves available for an emergency on a Sunday once for which we were certainly most grateful.
great The Anamosa vet clinic is a great place to take you animal. Everyone at that clinic is into helping animals and owners understand why and what to do with your new or old pet. They are people and animal friendly. They are not as expensive as other vet clinics. I live in Monticello and drive each of my animals to this vet, over the Monticello's vet clinic due to the kindness and the respect I get when comming into Anamosa's vet clinic. If I could give negative stars I would. This clinic is responsible for the death of my 2 year old cat that was healthy upon going to the clinic. After a giving the cat a recommended vaccine with no warnings of how it could hurt or kill him. Upon returning to the clinic within 30 minutes of leaving, the staff were disrespectful due to the "office being closed" as if we had not just left & called about what was happening. Liked working with the vet clinic up until I got this email and have spent a lot of money here also. Failed to submit my first ofas so yes now i double check everything since it was never submitted on my first round.... the doctors have been great but right now im not thrilled with the staff and in particularly Courtney and Ashton.
