It was nice to learn about my dog. Now I can understand things and behaviors she has.
This is great knowing, different from what we were told when we rescued our dog. Have already told others about the service.
You did great, I knew Benny was German Shepherd mixed with something. I was surprised to find out he was 43% Siberia Husky
I had my dogs DNA test through a different company and the results were very different than what we got through you. You kit was given as a gift which is why we ran it. The other test told us that she was Australian Shepherd and Bernie’s Mountain dog
Ancestry Pet DNA was great! It took 2 weeks for results when the sample was received. I was impressed and to follow the step by step process was easy! I was notified of each step via email and I downloaded the easy to use app as well. The results do match up to what my sweet baby is from what I can see and partly what the rescue told me. I thought the results seemed very accurate for my rescue puppy. I knew who her Mother was but not sure about the father.shes a lot smaller than her mother and the suspected father. I thought she looked like a chihuahua and the results confirm she is 36% chihuahua Even the behaviour characteristics were accurate, she definitely doesn’t like being groomed!
We were surprised Hades didn’t have any Doberman or Rottweiler features considering he looks identical to Pitt bull/rottweiler/doberman mixes. But the 10% English bulldog threw us for a loop! But we definitely can see it, his father was very stout and had the wrinkly face! But his results were on point for the breeder we bought him from.
Lots of surprises in our pups test. We knew she was a Pom mix, but we never guessed correctly what she was mixed with. So much fun guessing and the anticipation waiting on her results. The Min Pin explains her elongated snout too. Never expected any Boston was in there too. Highly recommend this test!
Results show two breeds but she displays characteristics of something else.
