Thank you, very surprising results. I am still waiting for my other dog Rusty, as his dna was extracted a fortnight ago. This was a long time before Tully was extracted. I was expectorating to have Rusty results back before Tully.

Great! I was a bit surprised with the results as one breed was totally unknown to me but I've checked it out and it's a good breed! It's nice knowing what's she's made of.

Business response:

Thanks for stopping by lately, Sharon. We're happy to hear you've been able to learn what makes your dog, you dog! Thanks so much for taking part, and have a great day, too.

I liked the follow-up provided which kept me informed of the process. However, I expected more specificity in terms of my dog breed. There are 3 classifications of poodle: toy, miniature, and standard. The information you sent me indicates Chia is small poodle, but that doesn’t tell me if she is toy or miniature. Most of the behavioral traits do not apply to my dog.

Business response:

Hi there Janning, and thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We know that seeing Traits that don't match up with what you know about your dog must lead to a few questions. Most traits are influenced by many genes — some of which we don’t even know about yet. Adding to this, it's worth keeping in mind that environmental factors can also affect your dog’s traits, too. As science progresses, more of your dog's trait predictions may line up with their DNA, but they will never all align. You can learn ... read more

I had a hunch of my rescue’s breed, but not sure her percentage and was just curious of what else she was mixed with. She ended up being 100% Great Pyrenees! Couldn’t be happier!

Business response:

It's very cool to hear what you've been able to uncover about your pup, Julie! Thanks very much for sharing this with us. We're delighted that you've enjoyed the experience. 🙌

I adopted Nox from the ARL. I knew he was a mixed breed from his pictures. He was listed as a black lab. Thanks to Ancestry Pet DNA, I now know he is mainly German Shepard, mixed with American Pit Bull Terrier, Labrador Retriever, and American Staffordshire Terrier. 100% energy!

Business response:

Thanks for taking the time to share a little about what you've learned about Nox! It's great to know that his results have helped you get the answers you were searching for about their breed mix. We hope that both the Breed and Traits reports can be a big help to you both in your training journey. Thanks again for sharing your experience with us, and have a great day, too!

Was very surprised by some of the breed that was in our Lab. She does have the threats of each breed that we see in her. Now For Molly we was told she was a teacup Shu-Poo and to fine out that she is not a poo at All. Told fi d out she is a Yorky instead. I see that part in her because she loves men.I had a Yorkie before and he prefer my husband more than me. I really am glad I did this test. Thank You for being able to share this part with our loving pets.

Business response:

Thanks so much for choosing our Know Your Pet DNA test to learn more about both of your dog's Angie! We're very happy to hear that the results have helped you get to know them even better. 💚

The process was definitely worth the money. To know the mix of DNA was very interesting and explains my dogs coat colour. The report of their traits was great and now I know why my pooch is terrified at the groomers. Love the entire report. Thank you Julie Charlton

Business response:

We're so happy to know that you've enjoyed the experience, Julie! Thanks very much for reaching out to share your kind feedback with us. We appreciate it!

We ourselves after initially wondering if our little 3 yr old rescue dog was a Jackrussell x chihuahua , then wondering if she might be a Jr x pug, it was then suggested to us by total strangers ( from North of England )we met on on walks - they identified her immeadiately as a "l Plummer terrier ". We'd never heard of this breed / type of dog, but We looked up Plummer terriers online , we realised she was identical to all the terriers featured - in looks , size, temperament , confirmation , way of holding herself, ... read more

We're so happy that you've taken the time to tell us a little about your lovely little dog, Eithne. There's nothing we love more than learning a bit about the dogs who've taken part in our test. We're thrilled that your results have been able to help you learn more about her, and we hope you both have a fantastic weekend! 😁

Things were very slow at first but then speeded up. Our little dog was sold as a French bulldog to a friend of ours. Soon after we got him we were asked so many times if he was a Frenchie or a Boston as we didn’t know anything about him we decided to do the DNA test. I’m really pleased we did. The results we surprisingly as I expected but opposite to what my husband did 😁 93% frenchie 7% Boston Really glad we done it as have been guessing for the past 2 and half years

Business response:

It's fantastic to hear that you were able to get to the bottom of this mystery, Leigh! We're thrilled that you enjoyed the journey, and we wish you, your husband, and your pup a lovely start to your week. 😊
