These guys are pros. They are easy to work with and gave us reasonable estimate without being over expensive. They have a strong moving team with 5,6 very strong guys. They were super careful and easy to work with. Packers - there were two: one was super pro (Justin). He did almost 80% of the packing by himself. I was originally told that we were going to have 3-4 packers a day however Justin compensated for all other workers and packed alone a lot of things. Our need for Anchor was unique: We weren't moving; instead, we needed to have different rooms emptied in our house so our hardwood floors could be re-finished. Half of the house was done one week, and the other half was done the following week. We hired Anchor to move the furniture out of those rooms that were being re-finished, and then back into those rooms after the work was done. I was very happy with my recent local move with Anchor Moving & Storage. They responded quickly to my original request for quote with a virtual walk-through. On the day of the move they showed up right on time and the crew was experienced and professional. Not one of them complained that I was moving from a third floor walk-up apartment on one of the hottest days of the summer. Anchor moving made a stressful situation so much easier for me. Moving and 2 week storage of all my possessions was a smooth process.
