Bad experience with Hygienist The hygienist I had yesterday was very rough on my teeth and the cleaning was very painful. I normally have a good experience with very little bleeding. I bled a lot yesterday and I am still in pain today from my cleaning. She would also look away while she had the suction tube in my mouth and almost shoved it down my throat a couple of times. long appointment for a cleaning and xrays My teeth were cleaned by Diana. She also cleaned my teeth the last time. She used an ultrasonic device for scaling and followed up with a hand scaling. I told her the last time I was in I felt my teeth had not been cleaned properly--felt like they were coated with gunk when I left. Cleaning was much better this time and I am totally satisfied with the cleaning. BUT, the xrays took forever. My appointment was at 1:45 and I left your office at 3:30. Bad Genes Good Dentist With my predisposition for peridontal issues. The team stays on top of.
No Pain, No Gain is not True Carol warned me she was going to use "super ultra sound" to crack the plaques, and "it sounds awful!" It sounds exactly like a dental "drilling" without the Novocain, the worst nightmare! I was not frightened, glad she told me ahead of time. Otherwise, I would have freaked out with the "Phantom pain." And this is written by a Psychiatrist!
Miserable experience My experience this morning with Dr. Drew Choi was miserable. He was impatient and unwilling to listen to me. His questions of me were full of dental jargon, which I did not understand. When I was unable to respond, he became completely unfriendly. He slammed my chart onto the counter and yelled "dismissed" as I walked out. I have been going here for years.... not any longer. Why would anyone return after being treated that way?
