A special thanks to everyone who cared for our Chloe this weekend! We brought her in, a very sick feline, and Dr. Tun very quickly figured out what was going on and had a treatment plan. Dr. Jason Berg was also amazing and took time to help us understand how she was doing and how we can care for her at home. The entire staff was patient and kind with us and helped us get Chloe home before the snow fell. I had an excellent experience with the ASC. My dog, Toby, was diagnosed with chronic active hepatitis that no other vet knew how to treat until we saw Dr. Berg. With his prescribed treatment, I went from almost losing Toby to having my big, happy boy back. He stayed well for over three years, and what I was most impressed with was Dr. Berg's focus on quality of life. I found myself in a horrible place on a Friday night in Inwood, NY. My cat Ichabod was ill, not kind of sick - I knew something horrible was going on. I called my vet who was closed. They left an emergency number for a Riverdale vet - I called Riverdale. They had an emergency and all vets were busy and she didn't want to tell me to come out if I could not be seen. We are so grateful for the wonderful turnaround of our beloved 12 year old shepherd/hound/lab (who knows!) rescue who was suffering from a brain tumor thanks to Dr. J and his team and...Cyberknife! Within 48 hrs. he was able to catch a tennis ball and squeak it, walk normally without slipping or careening terribly to one side, and most importantly, come home at night and not stay in his self-imposed exile in the back of our yard.
