I can't believe the previous reviews and have been coming to these Vets for years. They are knowledgeable, kind and compassionate, and dedicated to cats (and dogs in next door dog clinic). When a cat has been sick they call to follow up. They get to the bottom of difficult to diagnose illness. They do the right tests, and they take the time needed to help the cat owners. I moved across town, and bypass the neighborhood Vet, who truly isn't so hot, just to take the guys to Dr Longo, and the other great Vets.

Don't go here if you love your cats. They certainly don't. Very sad to see the decline here since Dr Longo left. Do everything you can to avoid Dr Stern, if she's still there.

If you love your pet, this is worth the read...I own an 8 month bengal cat named dyno. Out of town at my girlfriend's place on Saturday night, my girlfriend and I were out with friends for the night. Dyno decided to eat about a four foot ribbon he tore down off her wall. We did not know this until about 7am Sunday when I heard him meowing in discomfort and suddenly threw up what looked like a pile of ramen noodles, I immediately knew something was wrong. Before I could go over to assist him he swallowed the pile of ribbon ba... read more

Would give them NO STAR if possible. I have taken my cat to this hospital before and the vet could NOT tell if my tabby cat was a male or female (even after so-call exam and x-rays!). I take all my pets to another hospital - on the eastern shore even tho I live in Annapolis. However called Annapolis Cat Hospital to purchase prescription food recently. The receptionist did not know they carry the food. The hospital manager then got on the phone and I asked her if they have it in stock. The manager then told me I was conf... read more

The reviews that I I read here confirm my experience with the VAST differences that I've experienced here at this hospital. this is particularly scary when it comes to the care of a small creature whose well being and very life depends on how they are received and treated. These extremees aply both to the staff as wells as to the Vetinarians themselves. Dispite the location being extremely convenient to my studio and my residence I no longer feel comfortable taking my jewelie here. OVERBEARING is certainly far from an adje... read more

Long story short: Doctor was rough with scared cats leading to more scared cats, tried to push an un-needed more expensive prescription on us, and was unhelpful (almost to the point of working against us) in getting us the prescription we needed. Go somewhere else Long story long: After getting a recommendation from a friend we took our two cats to Annapolis Cat Hospital. Although the office was a bit farther away than we would have liked, we were new to the area and trusted our friend's opinion. After commenting on how ... read more

My husband took our sick cat here a few weeks back and was pleased. I was not with him. When she had a stroke earlier this week I took her back and liked the doctor who examined her and we concluded that it was best to euthanize her. She was kind, caring, and I felt that we were treated well. I just called to inquire about picking up my beloved cat's ashes and the man who answered the phone was so loud and matter-of-fact about the whole thing, like he didn't have time to deal with me and couldn't care less that I had ju... read more

I was not at all impressed with this establishment. The doctor was condescending and completely unhelpful. She really made me and boyfriend feel unwanted, almost as though we were a complete annoyance. I would look elsewhere.
