They drained the pool and tore out the old tiles. They put in new tiles, repaired the walls of the pull and replaced the pumping. They put in a new deck and regraded around the pool. Then they put in the bond coat and poured the plaster Amazingly well! Beyond what I would have expected. They were professional as could be, called me at every stage of the process to tell me what would happen next, who was doing it and when it was going to happen. The pool was vintage 1978 initially built by Sylvan. I had it painted a few times. The work done was a joke because the paint it had had a lot of pin holes in it so it was leaching through the paint. That's why I had it redone. In the last eight years or so, I had to re-put the tile back up that the ice kept breaking free. There is a deal of the chemicals that attacked the concrete, so that's an overall problem. We went to Anthony & Sylvan for the pool renovation because they were the original builders of the pool in 1984, and I also had other dealings with them before. I had broken something and I couldn't find a replacement part. I ended up calling them up and they were able to get me the exact part I needed, which was great because it was causing a problem with my kids. Anytime I called and had a question, Anthony & Sylvan reps were very prompt at responding. We emailed to communicate a lot, which was great because I'm not always available by phone. It was just very positive. Because of no rain, our pool was done in 19 or 20 days which is unbelievable. Every day there was someone here to supervise. They did a wonderful job. The whole family is enjoying it.

This is a pool refurbishing. My husband oversaw the whole project. He just likes the way Sylvan sets up their system. You get the salesman that comes in. He came in and told us what he was going to do and we had had two other estimates after him and they didn't even come close to the way he was going to do it.
