I booked the table via OpenTable and requested an outside table in the shade. They received the note and had our table ready. Great Salmon and you can’t beat the view of the harbor. Even watched two seals!

My husband and I dined at Anthony’s for the first time on 5/15/23 while visiting the area. The waterfront location is lovely and it was an unseasonably warm evening so enjoyed the outdoor dining area. We ordered drinks and a calamari appetizer, which was great but the cocktails took quite a while to arrive. We also ordered oysters on the half shell and I was taken aback by the price of $5.00 a piece since we were so close to the source. Always a good choice for seafood and steak with a menu that changes frequently with the season and availability of local produce and seafood. Excellent drinks and desserts too. Great views of the harbor and, depending on the weather, Mount Rainier.

Was a little bummed about the menu. Did not specify on website that it would ONLY be brunch menu. We almost left. Was hoping to have something from the regular menu. Definitely wanted fish and wasn't expecting to have fish and chips. I absolutely did not want eggs which was half the menu. The salmon sounded ok to me... My mom and I split the salmon and the fish and chips. The ginger slaw was absolutely amazing, and the meals ended up being very delicious. Although it was Mothers Day, the service was prompt and the food arrived hot and delicious. The view on a sunny day can’t be beat. This is the place to bring visitors who have not visited Gig Harbor before.

I understand the waitress was new, but she didn't know what beers or Soda were available. Came back 3 times to say what we wanted wasn't there. No Coors beer, only Budweiser! Not okay at all. She didn't write down the order and my friend received the wrong cheese on her burger. And one of my dinner items wasn't delivered. She completely forgot to tell the chef to cook it. Anthony's food is always good, but it helps to get what you ordered.

The charge for just one very lightly grilled piece of Halibut with butter and a green salad was $48. Nothing else! However, they charged the full price for a whole halibut dinner with veg and full price for the salad. Off the list of places to go for dinner. Good food and service. The cost is too high for the value.

Dear Open Table: Anthony's was wonderful - it always is, and this visit was, as usual, delightful. However, when we arrived, they had no record of the reservation we made through Open Table. I showed them confirmation from OT on my phone, and they checked again and said they had not received it. We were lucky that they weren't very busy at the time, but this is concerning and I thought you would like to know.
