Apollo Animal Hospital: Good For Pit Bulls I have taken my pit bull to Apollo for her shots. Dr. Wright is very good with my dog as he is also a pit bull owner. He was thorough and professional with her. The service and attitude of the staff is good. The office is very busy and as a consequence seems noisy. I couldn't find a parking place and had to park at the supermarket across 51st Avenue, which makes for a long hot walk in the summer. Prices seem no higher or lower than any other independent veterinarian facility.
Great Veterinarian! We have been taking our dogs to Dr. K.C. Wright for the past couple of years. He is a wonderful veterinarian...he is always thorough in his evaluations and he has a great "bed-side manner." I especially appreciate that he provides us with all of the information/options that we need when making medical decisions on a tight budget.
Ok for small dogs I have used Apollo Animal Hospital several times to board my dogs while on vacation. They staff is very friendly, and it is very clean. This is great if you have small to medium sized dogs (say under 50-60 pounds) as the kennels are not very big. If you have a larger breed dog (over 60 pounds) you might not want to come here.
