They operated on my 12-year-old Husky , which had a TERRIBLE growth on his head from an accident. Dr. Shaffer had wanted to perform surgery a few years ago but I was hesitant because of his age. THIS time, it really needed to be done so Dr.Shaffer and her tech.,Sara,made me as comfortable as they could about my decision.RESULTS?: SUCCESS and a dog in the healing process but will be MUCH happier! The wonderful folks at AVAH have been taking care of my fur babies for 20+ years. In good times and bad, they treat us like family. I can't imagine entrusting my gang to anyone else.
My dog was shockingly relaxed. The folks here have an aura of calmness which made my dog let them do whatever they wanted.
They treated my little man like he was family. Very knowledgeable and reassuring, even though I’m an overprotective mom. Made a super difficult situation much easier and helped my buddy through a painful procedure and he didn’t even hold a grudge afterward! He loved on them and they gave him treats and we walked out of there like nothing ever happened! Thank you so much to the staff at AVAH for taking such good care of Caine! We’ll be back!
