Long story short, they were awesome! My Dad was supported through his passing. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families, thanks again!

Move in was tough, but they had had a busted pipe at Christmas and were in progress of renovations. We had to move 3 times. Was hard on me and him! They said they would move his stuff, but changed their mind when it was time to move him. There is no sink in the kitchen. I didn't realize it. Not one of the places he had lived before had not so I never thought to look or notice when we walked thru. It's a big deal when u have to use a bathroom sink to wash a coffee cup.... yuk!! I definitely would recommend Arbor Terrace of Athens. They are great! I would comment that it's best to aim to do admissions early in the week. We had to travel from out of state, and ended up missing some paperwork, so we had to do admission on a Saturday which was a little problematic. Otherwise, everything has been fantastic for my loved one at Arbor Terrace of Athens.
Our family had an in person tour with Arbor Terrace of Athens and it was a great tour experience, but at the time we needed to move our loved one in, they did not have any availability. However, we did like them.
So it's beyond a five in each. If they want their loved one to have a home with help and friends of residents and staff, Arbor Terraces of Athens for sure. You can talk to everybody. Easily. Everybody is friendly. Just it's a home I don't know what else to say.

This is a pleasant and friendly place for me and my family to visit with our mother. She seems happy and very comfortable here at Arbor which makes us all happy! The activities are so appreciated and helps my mom to interact and be social. Thank you for all you do at Arbor to make it a family atmosphere!
The only complaint I hear from my family member is about the food, but that can just come down to personal preference. Overall she has been very happy with her relocation there. She's still very sharp for her age, and she really loves the facility. She loves the back gardens. Once we got her belongings moved in, she really felt like she was home. The place is fabulous - it's really so nice, and we couldn't be happier. Everybody there is lovely.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff were very understanding of our situation and they answered all of our questions, but at the end of the day it was just not going to be the best fit.

This community seemed to be sufficient but more expensive. The facility was pretty large and there were a lot of activities and my loved one did not have a need for all of this due to his conditio. They were friendly and helpful and willing to answer all questions I had about this community.
