Drove to Atlanta to have dinner with our son, a freshman at Oglethorpe. Wanted a nice steak dinner that was close to campus and they did not disappoint! Had shrimp cocktail and the waygu ribs for appetizers and they were great! Huge portions. The steaks were also delicious and the sides were amazing…especially the potatoes dauphinies (sp???). Date night
I attended for my 40th birthday celebration with five of my friends our server Juan V was attentive but pushy and a little bit off putting. Are he made decent suggestions for meals and certain drinks but didn’t offer my guests another drink and he was rushing us because our reservation was 845 and when we sat down he was rushing us to order our food and collecting salads to lay out the main course it was just very lackluster service but the food was outstanding as usual. Very good good and service! Sitting upstairs in the expansive bar area or outside both upstairs and down us very nice. My only gripe continues to be they force you to use their valet. Very frustrating to have a restaurant do something that is simply not necessary. As a result I don’t dine here here as often as I would.
My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for our anniversary. We have eaten at all of the other steak houses in Atlanta and wanted to see how it compared. We received outstanding and attentive service upstairs, but it was more of a guy's upsale sportsbar vibe than an upscale dining environment. Celebration
You just can’t go wrong with any of Michael Arnett’s restaurants. The overall vibe in the restaurant is handsome and chic, the service from the hostess to the busser to server was very correct and attentive and the food was absolutely wonderful. And they know how to make a really good drink! We loved the Pot de creme dessert with the beautiful cookies too. So happy to have such great dining options right in our neighborhood.
