Yeah, I think I'm over this place now. We took a couple from out of town here and just felt like it was very ordinary, and overpriced, more than I recall. The cheapest steak I recall was like $62. I ordered the Sole fish and was $52...and overcooked. It was nothing special, yet overpriced. The sides were ok. The waiter was good, but I recall each special he mentioned was between $100-$165 for different types of Wagyu. Even the old-fashioned wasn't great, so I only ordered one. Arnette's NEVER disappoints. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the metro area. The ambience is great. The food is really good and the service is high quality. IF there is an area of improvement, it would be with the salads- they are underwhelming and treated as an after thought to an otherwise well thought out and apportioned menu.

The evening was underwhelming. The food and service was just “OK”. While the server was present and knowledgeable; her service style did not resonate. We were quite disappointed that there was absolutely no acknowledgment of our 17yr anniversary which we were there to celebrate. It was in the notes of our reservation. I also work in Fine Dining Service and I would have expected more at this level of dining experience.

We had a great experience at Arnette’s Chop House. Cocktails were very good (Cosmo, Old Fashioned). We ordered the oysters, Waygu Delmonico, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Onion Rings, plus Cheesecake and coffee. While everything was Really Great, the standouts were the beef - worth the splurge - and the oysters. Alberto was attentive, professional and made several good suggestions. We have found our neighborhood steak house! Can’t wait to come back!
