I spent over a year debating with myself whether to get a new crown or not. I had a food pocket next to the existing crown and Dr. Huang was telling me that the decay was significant. I was angered by having to pay upfront. I always pay my bills. I was angered by the nonchalance of the diagnosis. Etc. I delayed for a year. I finally got it done - paid upfront as required. This is the worst place I have ever been to. They over charged us when we were just getting a cleaning but they decided to do unnecessary treatments and charged me $167. Then when I was on my way to pay $28 for my son’s next appointment they said that he could not have any services until the $28 was paid. He would have not even been done with his service. We went to Aspen Dental over a year ago. My wife was overcharged by $1,000 for a procedure they did not do. I was overcharged by $800 from over a year ago. These charges were both sent to Care Credit as bills we owed. We have been paying on them for over a year ago. My wife has $1,000 credit at the store level and they acknowledged they owe us money. I went in for a scheduled appointment and told the receptionist over the phone it had been over a year since my last cleaning. This was still a surprise to everyone working that day. I had a broken tooth. I had to wait for an appointment, in part because of my work schedule. Once I got in, I was treated promptly and professionally. The dentist told me she could fill it, which was a huge savings for me. They were able to get me in the next day and I was done in less than 45 minutes. I don’t have insurance and I signed up for their savings plan for $39 a year which brought my bill down from $511 to about $275.
