Very dishonest about their services. My wife and I went in separately for cleanings and were both given a "gingivitis cleaning" even though we both were scheduled for just normal cleanings. The hygienist did not inform either of us that we would be getting this additional cleaning before she did it. We had both previously had regular cleanings and they were fully covered by our insurance, however this gingivitis cleaning was not fully covered. I went in because I’ve been having some pain in my gums and was told the office manager would call me with pricing and information on what I need done and they never called me back, I waited 2 days and called them And spoke to a receptionist I think and was told it would be 2,600$ but when I asked for details and pricing to be explained or emailed to me I got no information and no email. I will go somewhere else.
I called in because I had lost a filling. I actually had it from falling out. My usual dentist for over 15 years was out with a family emergency. Understandable. Aspen in Cranberry said they could get me in same day. Awesome. I go and the lady at the desk and was super nice. Even though she couldn’t find my Guardian dental insurance. No big deal. I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning. The entire appointment took an hour and 30 minutes and I left without getting my teeth cleaned. On top of that, they didn’t give me an option for just a regular cleaning, they pushed for a deeper cleaning that would have cost over $400 out of pocket with the insurance I have. Was told I had gum disease and quoted me over $6000 with insurance! I went to a actual Periodontist because I was freaked out , and they said my gums were fine , just needed a deep clean. He even wrote a LETTER to Aspen stating , my gums were fine. I took my DD2813 to get filled out at Aspen , and they almost refused to fill it out. They said " I would not pass " . Took the form to my Periodontist and I passed my dental exam. Waste of time
