My experience with Aspen dental in Ottumwa Iowa was awful to say the lest. From the receptionist to the newly hired dentist we will call JD . On this visit I was there because my final dentures were not centered properly. Meaning my two front teeth were off centered. The tech could see that was the case and so did JD . JD then said he didn't like my rude attitude and became so mad that he ripped his lab coat off and stepped towards me . I've had a lot of work done over the last several months. I hate dentists, but Aspen @ least made it tolerable. Everyone was very friendly & polite. Their prices are kind of expensive, but now days, what isn't???
Showed up for appt. 12/30/22, staff couldn't find my appt. Had to show my confirmation, then had an xray, no dentist there so they said would reschedule me, that didn't occur, I called left message, no return call, was billed 115.00 but that was never submitted to my insurance, after 22 more calls to local office and customer service was told it was handled, it wasn't, then told Customer Service would escalate claim, they didn't, and now 15 months later I'm still trying to resolve the billing issues ie: it was never billed,... read more
I have never had to wait on a dentist in my whole life. I thought that they were pricey. The office had head banging music playing. I have never seen a dentist where he never used those blue straps to see where your teeth touched. It bothers me more to chew than ever before. I don't plan on going back there again.
I made my appt and was open to the schedule they had open. I told them this was my first visit and that ultimately I will be wanting implants as my teeth have been a huge struggle in my life. I told them that I only needed an extraction. When I got there I received an exam and period x-ray the doctor had a horrible bed side demeanor and told me he doesn't do implants and how they were too likely to get infection and that he does dentures I told him that's not what I wanted and after clanking into my teeth and apologizing twi... read more
