This location has been terrible for me from the start, but it was easy to get appointments for cleanings the past few years, so I put up with it. I dealt with incorrect insurance billing, then had to call them repeatedly for my refund, generally rude receptionists who were not helpful at all throughout their billing mistakes, the list goes on. Been a patient at Cortland for years and was happy but now can't ever get anyone to answer the phone or return a call after leaving multiple messages to make an appt. At first I chalked it up to Covid, but we are well past that. I had to drive my son to the Ithaca office. They got it him pretty quickly but had to start over like a new patient. Poor kid has been in extreme pain for months, but one visit for xrays and a plan. 2nd visit for cleaning.
I'm incredibly disappointed with Aspen Dental and their lack of communication and professionalism. I went in a few months ago with tooth/head pain and was told I would need either a root canal or an extraction with urgency. They put me on antibiotics and scheduled another appointment to see if I would be a good candidate for a root canal. I decided against the root canal because of the price tag and because of the fact that I never got my wisdom teeth removed, so an extraction would be more affordable and potentially not cau... read more
I hadn't been to the dentist in about 5 years. I decided to go to have a checkup. The staff was amazing. They made you feel right at home. They were all very knowledgeable. After all my fears were set to ease I got a small cleaning done, and they were so good I choose to go back and get my teeth whitened! I was just overall impressed with the staff there. Great people, great place!
When I mad the appointment initially it was a great experience. My appointment was at 12pm I got there five minutes early and the front desk staff was great! I waited in the waiting room for 35 minutes. I have worked in a medical office so I understand that Drs get behind, but you would think someone would let the patient know.
