Bad experience ... Aspen refused to fix a broken tooth on my plate under warranty unless I paid for an oral exam and an xray. They have done so in the past but now "say" I have to be examined and x-rated every 5 years. It is my personal belief that it is an excuse to recover the price of the warranty repair by charging me for unnecessary work but I cannot prove that to be a fact. I'm presently waiting on a callback from the district manager to see if the corporation can have any influence on the franchise...
Aspen Dental's processes are very frustrating. They also conveniently lost my x-rays when I went to retrieve them for my new dentist's office. I have never experienced anything like this with any office I have been to (I am 42 yrs old). The first appointment I had was a consultation, not a cleaning. That was not explained to me and I had to go back for a cleaning on a separate day. I have insurance and they made me pay before I had a procedure done. We were told they don't take children after they did xrays and teeth cleaning. Charged us $405! Why weren't we told this when we made the appointment! Then ask for his records to be sent to the new dentist and they say okay. 4 hours later they call and say they can't be sent in 24hrs because we are understaffed. Very poor customer service! I would never recommend this place.
If there could be a no star, this is what I would put! As a Momma, you always hope that when your kid goes to a dentist, it is a good experience.. no matter what, their age is.. that being said. After Thanksgiving, my son went to this location for a cavity. The procedure was for a filling. Later that evening, his filling came out, just fell out.. called the next day had to go back in and get it fixed.. so he thought... fast forward to a few hours ago.. Everything went very good. Got right in for my appointment. All the staff were considerate and seemed to be very knowledgeable about their work.
