I, personally, have not had a bad experience here in DuBois. The staff are all very friendly. The doctor, though always busy, will take the time to answer any questions. Every other dentist is booked for MONTHS, whereas Aspen Dental will see you in a very timely fashion. No long waits in the waiting room either. If your appointment is at 10:30, you usually get seen at 10:30 or even earlier, but no longer than 10:35. That is SUPER.
No thanks. I went in for a filling that fell out of one of my back molars and the tooth continued to break, down to the gum line. Since it isn’t directly visible when I smile, I figured an extraction would fix everything. For a simple, and I mean SIMPLE tooth extraction, they wanted $4,457. The people in the office were very nice and professional, but not at that expense. I found a local dentist who will do the same procedure for under $500. I will never revisit Aspen Dental again nor recommend them.
The front desk, x ray and hygienist ladies were very nice. The dentist seemed unconcerned and disinterested in my needs. He didn’t explain the 2 resolutions I had (pros, cons, which is more recommended) and rushed out of my room rather quickly. I personally feel a broken tooth (infected or not) is an emergency which they advertise they handle. There was no sense of urgency, empathy or willingness to want to help. You know those sleezy used car places? This place reminds you of that. We went here since they were one of the only places that took our insurance that was taking new patients. Figured all the scam/crazy upselling reviews were blown out of proportion....welp, found out they aren't. They told me I needed a "deep clean" for almost $2k, and it wasn't ethical for them to just do a regular cleaning. Like they refused to do a regular cleaning that my insurance would pay for. All was good. Had bottom implants. So far they are doing good. Only thing I didn’t like, was the billing process. I asked them everytime I went how much I owed as I had cash. One time they told me I didn’t owe anything and that they owed me 400.00. Never got it, which was fine cause I think it had something to do with my insurance. The next time they told me I would owe 1000.00, so I brought it with me which was my last app. I gave it to them, and they said I still owed 1200.00 which I didn’t have with me because I was told ... read more
