Went for extreme tooth pain. They couldn't fix it but did want to give me a deep cleaning! WHILE IM IN EXTREME PAIN! THEN...they wanted thousands from me after charging insurance FOR A CLEANING! They did charge over $700 and shipped me off to another doctor to do a root canal. Another $700! Then that guy puts a temporary crown on and sends me back to Aspen for a permanent fix. Stop the bait and switch. Dont tell a CASH PAYING patient that an extraction is $165 and then when they come in, you tell them that it needs to be surgically removed and double the cost - especially when thier regular dentist will do it for $129 and stated that there is NO reason for it to be surgically removed other than Aspen looking to make a few extra bucks.

I had the worst experience at Aspen Dental today. I have lived all over Texas and been to many offices and the office in Cedar Park has beat out any other bad experiences I’ve ever had. The first time they scheduled an appointment for me for tooth pain I asked before heading over how long the appointment would take. They told me 45 mins. I showed up on time and the girl up front informed me that it would be 2hrs + and not 45 mins because they were “working me in”. Stop treating people like cattle or assembly line products. Be more transparent about pricing. Provide prescription strength pain medicine when you reschedule an appointment so your patient doesn't have to suffer an entire week and drive another 2 hours for an appointment and wait in pain. ASPEN DENTAL is a scam.

Other than my hygienist Madison, who is terrific, and the automated reminders (which could be a bit too much), it's a "big box" chain dentist office that treated me like a customer, not a patient/client. They tried to overcharge me several times. Definitely recommend that you not go to this dentist's office. Of course, I'm not entirely sure if there are dentists there since I pretty much only saw the office staff and hygienist.

I had a filling done and the shot to numb my mouth was really rough. A week later my mouth still hurts where the shot was taken.
